The song won a lot of awards and held the position of most music show wins after the 2000s in South Korea, with 21 wins until BTS broke their record with “Dynamite”.

3) Idol:

IDOL released on August 24, 2018, and was the lead single from the album Love Yourself: Answer. An alternative version of the song featuring Nicki Minaj was also added as the bonus track with the digital album. The song received an overwhelming response and made it to rank 11 on Billboard Hot 100 chart. The two versions combined generated 24.4 million streams in the first week.

Fake Love is an emo-hip hop and electropop song from the band’s album Love Yourself: Tear. The song released on May 18, 2018, and later on October 16, 2018, the Japanese version of the song was released for digital streaming and downloads. The song received a positive response and won Song Of The Year and Best Pop Song at the 2019 Korean Music Awards. The song debuted as number 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart had 27.8 million streams in its opening week.

5) DNA:

DNA is an EDM-pop song that released on September 18, 2017. The song debuted as number 85 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, making the band’s first entry on the chart. The song peaked number one on the K-pop Billboard Hot 100 and as of February 2019, has sold over 2.5 million digital units in the country. With 1.2 Billion views as of now, DNA is one of the most loved K-pop songs.

6) Spring Day:

Spring Day was released on February 13, 2017, and has 419 million views as of now. The song is soothing and sentimental and got various awards, including Song Of The Year at the 2017 Melon Music Awards. As of September 2018, the song has sold 2.5 million digital copies in the country and was a commercial success. Released on February 21, 2020, ON is the second single from the band’s album Map Of The Soul: 7. The official music video of the song has 373 million views as of now. In the United States, the song sold over 86,000 digital downloads in its release week and debuted as number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. On K-pop Billboard Hot 100, the song debuted as number 41 but topped the chart the following week and stayed there for consecutive three weeks.
