Dear movie buffs, if you’re bored and looking out for the next great film, say no more! Here’s a list of all the new movies releasing next.

Haseena Dilruba

Cast: Taapsee Pannu, Vikrant Massey, Harshvardhan Rane

Directed by Kanika Dhillon and produced by Anand L Rai, Haseena Dilruba is a murder mystery wrapped up in a twisted love story. It is a thriller showcasing the three shades of love; lust, deceit, and obsession. Taapsee Pannu has donned quite a loud look in this film with her red lipstick and nose pin, contrary to any of her previous films. Even Vikrant Massey seems to be playing a grey character, a man who has an unhealthy obsession with his wife. This movie is going to release on Netflix on 2nd July 2021. So far, Tapsee Pannu has released a teaser and poster of the film.

Trollhunters: Rise of the Titans

Cast: Emile Hirsch, Steven Yeun, Nick Offerman

In the grand finale of Arcadia Franchise, Heroes from movies Trollhunters, 3Below and Wizards are going to come together to fight against the Arcane Order to get control over the magic that binds them all. It is set in Arcadia Oaks, the center of magical and extraterrestrial links. This movie has been produced by DreamWorks Animation and Double Dare You Productions and directed by Johane Matte, Francisco Ruiz-Velasco, and Andrew L. Schmidt. It is an animation movie with several popular actors lending their voice for the film. It is releasing on 21st July 2021 on Netflix.

Black Widow

Cast: Scarlett Johanson, Florence Pugh, David Harbour

Marvel is back with the next movie in their series, Black Widow. This movie will focus on spy and hand-to-hand combatant, Natasha Alianovna Romanoff. This direction by Cate Shortland falls right after Captain America: Civil War in the series. Natasha is forced to confront her past and deal with a new conspiracy attached to it. With Avengers scattered across the globe, she can only look for help from some old friends. Since this character has already taken her last breath in the Avengers Endgame, this might be the last we see of Natasha Romanoff: the first female superhero of Marvel. Black Widow is releasing on 9th July 2021 on Disney+Hotstar.

Fear Street Trilogy

Cast: Kiana Madeira, Olivia Welch, Benjamin Flores Jr., Julia Rehwald, Fred Hechinger

Based on a book series by R. L. Stine, this horror trilogy has been directed by Leigh Janiak. It is the story of two high school cheerleaders living in a town that has various scary incidents to its name. They are trying to figure out of these incidents are inter-connected.  All these films are releasing in 2021 on Netflix, but on a different date; Fear Street Part 1: 1994 on July 2, Fear Street Part 2: 1978 on July 9, and Fear Street Part 3: 1666 on July 16. The director claimed that since they shot the whole trilogy in a single summer, the audiences should get to experience the whole series without any long breaks too. A triple Friday horror night!

Gangubai Kathiawadi

Cast: Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgan, Indira Raaz, Emraan Hashmi, Shantanu Maheshwari

Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and produced by Jayantilal Gada, Gangubai Kathiawadi is a biographical crime drama. Inspired from Hussain Zaidi’s Mafia Queens of Bombay, it is based on the story of a woman sold to a brothel at a very young age by her suitor. How she fights against the odds and becomes the madam of a brothel in Kamathipura forms the rest of the story. Alia as Gangubai looks powerful in a traditional saree and big red bindi. Even before the release, the movie landed in trouble as Gangubai’s adopted son Baburao Shah filed a defamation case fearing an inaccurate portrayal of his mother.  This film is set to release on 30th July 2021 in theatres.
