Hyundai Motor Corporation has inked a strategic partnership with sony pictures entertainment. The partnership enables customers to experience Hyundai’s future mobility and new technologies through Sony’s digital content, upcoming movies, and animations. The deal signing even happened at Sony Pictures Studio in Los Angeles. Hyundai Motor Group Vice President of customer experience Cho Won-hong and Sony Pictures Entertainment Vice President of global partnership Jeffrey Godsick attended the event. Hyundai motors also offer substantial marketing support to the Sony networks, and both of them would collaborate on a range of ancillary content creation.
Hyundai Models and Technologies to be Showcased in Sony’s Upcoming Movies
The partnership serves to leverage Sony pictures IP, for marketing content, collaborate on vehicular concepts and infrastructure for movies of Sony pictures. It also leads to co-create virtual reality and gaming experiences and also co-produce events. The strategic partnership brings to life the automaker’s human-centered future mobility vision dedicated to revitalizing cities and galvanizing urban air mobility.
Hyundai Motors’ new models and technologies will be showcased in the upcoming movies of Sony pictures. They include Uncharted (July 2021), the sequel to Spider-Man™: Far From Home (November 2021), the sequel to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (October 2022); and others.
