This upcoming eccentric psychological anthology by Netflix is inspired by four stories written by highly acclaimed filmmaker-author Satyajit Ray.

Film director Sayantan Mukherjee presents a new thrilling satirical movie titled ‘Ray featuring four eloquent stories of Satyajit Ray. Each story incorporates a dynamically exceptional actor in the main lead. The recent trailer release of the movie Ray showcases Manoj Bajpayee, Harshvardhan Kapoor, Ali Fazal, and Kay Kay Menon. They represent their individual stories of ego, revenge, envy, and betrayal. The actors are accompanied by Gajraj Rao, Shweta Basu Prasad, Anindita Bose, Bidita Bag, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Radhika Madan, Chandan Roy Sanyal, and Akansha Ranjan Kapoor.

The movie is put together by Abhishek Chaubey, Srijit Mukherji, Vasan Bala, and created by Sayantan Mukherjee.

What’s So Interesting About the Movie Ray?

Ray promises quite a riveting experience for the audience unmasking some great works of the dexterous and skilled writer Satyajit Ray. The trailer begins with the age-old notion of human beings considering themselves equal to God. They realize the worth of God in the end upon making a big fall. Each of the stories of Ray titled Forget Me Not, Bahrupiya, Hungama Hai Kyon Barpa, and Spotlight express a different dimension to the viewers.

The trailer begins with the story of Ipsit Nair, a guy with the memory of a computer impersonated by Ali Fazal in the story Forget Me Not. Next, we see the story Spotlight with the lead Harshvardhan Kapoor, a failed superstar with a divine look. He seems to be stunned by the popularity of a God woman possessing divine powers.

Just after this, we are introduced to the character of Ghazal singer, Musafar Ali who is tracing his way back to recognition. Its role is played by The Family Man fame actor Manoj Bajpayee. In the end, we get a glimpse of the story Bahrupiya starring Kay Kay Menon. He portrays the character who wishes to explore the world being a make-up artist despite having a stable job at a computer firm.
