Nipah virus had done a lot of damage to God’s own country, Kerala a few years ago. Kozhikode and Malappuram districts of the state had seen a severe outbreak of the virus. Mollywood had took several real-life instances that happened during that phase and created a movie titled Virus. The movie was released in 2019 and is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video in Malayalam language.

The popular online streaming provider in Telugu, Aha has now acquired the digital rights of the movie and announced that it will stream movie in Telugu language under the name Nipah Virus starting December 4. Aha Video has put the Nipah Virus Telugu trailer in its social media channels.
On December 4 and 5, Netflix is celebrating Stream Fest and is offering a two day free streaming of all movies and TV shows to all users in India. We have to wait and see if the movie will see any traction during the weekend or not.
